Cultivate HOPE Journal

“One with great faith, stirs up Hope”
by: crystalyvonnee (2020)

11/28/2020 – Day 1 : 2020 has been a very different kind of year for everyone.  But, God is still our El-Olam “Everlasting God.”   I am certain most of us have found ourselves in the past year (or maybe even years) reflecting on our personal journeys; while cultivating hope.  As a faith and hope investigator,  it is not by happenstance that I am closing 2020 with my “Cultivate HOPE Journal.”  It allows a glimpse on a different and new normal that 2020 brought us; yet,  here we became even stronger in our faith and hope.  I pray it will encourage you to press on as we remember Jesus is our only Hope.   Love God.  Love People.  Love You.  God Bless You, My Friend

11/29/2020 – Day 2 of my penned 30 days of “Cultivate HOPE” Journal:

Spread a little more Christmas JOY Give a gift of HOPE this Christmas and all the New Year Through 💝

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”. Romans 15:13 NIV

11/30/2020 – Day 3 : In constancy, bringing the good news in the gift of HOPE; where there is confidence, joy, peace and freedom. Encourage, challenge and remind others of the true meaning of hope and expectation in the birth of our Savior! Christ is our only hope. God all things are possible.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

12/1/2020 – Day 4 : HOPE is essential to life and is a beautiful reminder after this difficult year. As 2020 is near to close, may we be reminded of those who suffered with grief or sorrow, most of us experienced a lot of stretching, maybe even welcomed or learned a little more flexibility and then there are some that discovered hidden gifts. Let us rejoice! For our Father is abounding in steadfast love for you, that never ceases.

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31 NIV

12/2/2020 – Day 5 : #hopeunwrapped HOPE unwrapped plays a mighty role in a personal life, and can be a precious advantage to our outlook; if we let it. Hope is our drive to thrive, stirring the soul and truly enables our lives to keep going. Our immeasurable and unstoppable hope is our drive for that desired change to bring forth. We can always strive to do our best.  Leave the rest to our Founder of Hope, He is our Ultimate Hope Maker God really does keep His promises.

“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” Isaiah 26:3 NIV

12/3/2020 – Day 6 : Attainable HOPE is applicable to every circumstance; let it be a part of your very being. The true light that will guide you with the how-to in the pathway through, past and the “how-to” avoid and/or turn away from any darkness. Stay on that course God designed for us to walk on, with Him. On it, you will embrace and live out His promise of hope. Attainable HOPE takes discipline, focus, determination, root, and flight to live your best life in Him, for His Glory. It will enable you to see, envision and push through for a better tomorrow, by beginning with a better today. Hope makes everything attainable. ❣#hopeInflight

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” Psalm 32:8 ESV

12/4/2020 – Day 7 : HOPE opens our eyes to both mistakes and challenges. Be a HOPE model by committing your life to living in and with the HOPE approach in every facet of life. Hope transcends from any and all fear, loss, disappointment, despair, guilt, misery, anger, shame, pain and the SPECIAL hope we have in Jesus even transcends death. #believeitandreceiveit

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” James 1:5 ESV

12/5/2020 – Day 8 : HOPE is contagious. Be a HOPE witness!!~! Accessible hope, is also derived from an absolute bond between you, Father God and your faith! God keeps His promises. Be overwhelmed with gratitude and the goodness of God!~! ❣️#PromiseKeeper

“you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.”
I Peter 1:8b NIV

“You are the salt of the earth.” Matthew 5:13a ESV
From the Sermon on the Mount, “the Beatitudes.” (As salt is beneficial in a number of ways, preservation and seasoning, so are the disciples of Jesus who influence the world for good.)

12/6/2020 – Day 9 : H.O.P.E.***Hold Onto Psalter Encouragement – Helping Other People Envision – Hold on, Pain Ends – Helping Other People Enthusiastically – Hold on, Peace Exists – Honesty, Openness, Patience, Effort – Have Only Positive Expectations – Helping Other People Everywhere. Except for my created acronym first on the list, All the others found on “what does hope stand for” and you can find SO many more that HOPE stands for.

“The Lord protects and defends me; I trust in him. He gives me help and makes me glad; I praise him with joyful songs.” Psalm 28:7 ESV

12/7/2020 – Day 10 : #hopewonder Immovable our hope remains and exemplifies the magnitude of that HOPE and promise. You can decide to choose to let the world define you OR you can live out the HOPE and the expectations.

#immovablehope  One living in honest faith, stirs up hope.

“No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises! My body rests in hope.” Acts 2:26 NIV

2022 : Botanical Gardens as I appreciate the Candlelight walk, poinsettias & brass ensemble.

12/8/2020 – Day 11 : #GodofConstancy Be mindful of the HOPE constantly available and His presence. It is a gift in which you have been given unlimited access too. Will you accept it today? Be mindful of your own personal journey. {But} share this in such a way that it is only considerate and helpful; all while emitting enrichment of how you come to have that hope. Magnify that HOPE with others! Our hope is in the love, life and assurance of Christ. God keeps His promises.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10 ESV

12/9/2020 – Day 12 : “Therefore encourage another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:18

The Lens of HOPE. You have the ability to see past and look through life’s uncertainties or perplexities. It’s your exclusive journey and emotional connection that is necessary to achieve your best life and well being. It can be an astonishing relationship with the Lord. Keep your lens one-way directional toward that narrow beam that will only aim high and wide to the superlative Mountain of Hope that only He can provide. Seek and I promise you will find HOPE and look forward to the kingdom of God. #gospelglasses God Keeps His Promises.”

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that who ever believes in him should not parish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV

12/10/2020 – Day 13 : #HelmetofHope. With great proclivity and harmonious aptitude, receive and double that portion of HOPE today!~! Thank you Lord!~!

”And you will feel secure, because there is hope; you will look around and take your rest in security.. “ – Job 11:18 ESV

The resolute optimism keeps you within the spirit of hope. How do you develop into being resolute? Aspiration to inspiration can lead others to the salvation of hope admiration; and a happy happy heart!!~! Spring forth, fill up and live out that King-Size hope at all times!~!

“And you will feel secure, because there is hope. The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17

12/11/2020 – Day 14 : #HopeCanvas. The Author of Life’s Artistry, from the very beginning……. He created. This is our Father’s World. In it is His creation and we are amongst a world full of beautiful gifts and talents; which are all God’s blessings in creative illustrations and for His divine purposes. Consider in all you do, to let God work through you and stretch the canvas with HOPE so that you may share that HOPE in Christ with the world. What medium do you choose for expression? Pray that God’s Palpable Presence is in Our Midst. “Be Thou My Vision” on white canvas, sketch and stretch through pen and paint; this evident, tangible and palpable HOPE. Allow God to work through you, by the work of His Hand. #SkyHarbor The Master Artist is a #promisekeeper

12/12/2020 – Day 15 : Finally, everyone must live in harmony, be sympathetic, love each other, have compassion, and be humble. I Peter 3:8 GW

Our praises are a choice, not a feeling; it changes us for the better, refocuses our attention and realigns our purpose. Let our praises glorify his gift to which we are freely given, filling our hearts, minds and souls this Christmas, with the hope only he can provide. #spiritofchristmas

In The Midst of Adversity

My Investigative Reporting ……Adversity……
One of the greatest spiritual, mental, emotional and physical attributes you can attain is how to process and respond in the midst of any adversity.
We will all face some type of adversity (ies) in our journey in this earthly life.
Adversity, equips a person, living in Christ. ( List is not all inclusive, can add many more..)
#1.  Adversity enables one to have “unwearied” patience
2). Deepens one’s unshakeable faith
3). Unwavering courage
4). Perseverance
5). Enhances one’s ability to still love & smile in the midst🥰
But he said to me, “My Grace is sufficient for you…..”. II Corinthians 12:7a
(Excerpts from Dr Charles Stanley, “In The Midst of Adversity” sermon series, that I found to be true in my own life)

God Is Faithful

So this happened this evening. Thank you LORD for a God-send. I had a serious flat and pulled over into a parking spot. Sat and prayed a minute. Then scheduled my tow.

A gentleman pulled up and asked me if I needed help. I hesitated, as I would. And told him I scheduled a tow. He offered again. And so here came my confirmation and so I obeyed. He offered his spare, as we both had the same “Hyundai” car family.

I said sir. thank you thank you. I actually have a spare on a rim in my garage and I only live right down the road. He offered to run me home, grabbed my spare and went back to my stranded car.

This gentlemen was kind, helpful and completely fixed my car and I was able to drive home. We talked about our faith and serving, as he did the repair. I don’t know who you are sir, but “thank you for showing up” when I needed help.

This gentlemen, did I mention he was a chaplain and a potter, he said. I pray God blesses you.

“Thank you for showing up” as a brother-in-Christ; and reminding me how God orchestrated at such a time as that.

“Thank you for showing up.”

Abounds

My Investigative Reporting …..Abounds…..

Often times throughout one’s life there certainly has a been a moment or two, honestly, where we just don’t feel like we measured up. Measure up? Yes, in what the world projects on how we should be or where we should be. (Friends, don’t listen to those lies) They don’t know your personal story in truth, they don’t know all that molded you (I.e. personal trials, struggles as well as joy and happy times) and most importantly, they don’t know the depth of your heart. But, the one thing as a Christian we can be sure of, is the love of our Savior at all times and the Unlimited Grace that abounds us.

The term “abundant life” comes from the Bible verse John 10:10b, “I have come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. “Abundant life” refers to life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength for mind, body, and soul.” ❣️For which I am ever so grateful.

Nothing can separate a Christian from the love of God that is in Christ.

“Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.  (Romans 8:39).

(We all serve especially during holidays❤️But, I choose this picture because of the (over 300+++) pies in abundance to feed others that just overwhelms my heart. The “abundance” of food it takes to feed at holidays and the “abundance” of workers that God alone provides.❣️ #Abundance. #JOY)   (Penned by my 6/30/20)img_3753

Grace Speaks

My Investigative Reporting …..
…….Grace Speaks……

“May we never forget how far we have come. Keep going there is more for us to do and more for you. God has a wonderful plan and surprises along your journey. There is more to our individual story or we wouldn’t still be here.” (Grace Speaks)

If you are ever in a specific moment, where you feel like something in your journey is too much, then take time. Take that necessary time to reset and rest, enjoy a healthy day for you. It might look different for you onto the next person. Take your “rest / reset” in your life. It might be a vacation for some, a new eating way, adding exercise in your day, snuggling up to a good book, prioritizing your days; whatever works in your life. Remember, it’s your personalized journey; ordained by God. He knows your heart. There is freedom in knowing that. Love Him and be the “best you” that you can be for Him. As He loves us “unconditionally” and “completely.”

“So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love,” 1 John 4:16. ESV

Being Aunthentic

My Investigative Reporting…….

Being Authentic

God, my Jehovah-Rapha, (which means our Healer): You brought me out of darkness into the light and purified my heart, mind, body and soul; SOooo many many years ago now. I love my Bible.

In-love verses that explicitly tell me HOW I am to live, no questions and no what-ifs, ands / or buts. IT is laid out in red and black on white pages. I have been through too much, not to worship You in every part of my being. This conversion has come with a lot of persecution from every angle at times. But, I keep pressing on, am grateful and forever thankful for His rescue. I will continue to praise Him all of my days❣️

Listen to the incredible song, “Graves to Gardens.”  .Nearly 20 years ago I started planting gardens of every part of my yard that I could. (Knowing, however, since I was 8 yoa that God was calling me, but no guidance to seek or grow in Him. True story and why Children’s Ministries are so important to me today)

This desire brought Him forward and real in my life for many years now. I know why I was planting those gardens every where I could find sensible space, back then.💞
