Jesus-relevant

    Time is of the essence
Most significant worldly element.
As it will begin anew
Graciously presented itself quite eloquent.
Study His Word, follow His command
Be His disciple and share your bold testament.
Do not fret of worldly persecution
Exemplify as His disciple and let your testimony be Jesus-relevant.Gardens

“Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”   Luke 11:28 (ESV)

My Sideways Cross

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”      Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

My Sideways Cross

My Sideways Cross
(As Christ drug the cross to the hill; my journey as I picked up the cross to follow Him)
My sideways cross
What it means to me.
To once be rejected~
Dragging my sideways cross.
What it means to me.
He said, “pick up the cross and follow Me.”
There are no butts, what-ifs or uncertainties.                                                                                            \
Pick up My  cross and follow Thee.  What it means to me.
The road traveled
The journey unknown
Once destined for another, but
In His gentle Fatherly tone
He graciously whispers daily
Never giving up – keeping my  eyes on His Throne.
What it means to me.
Take a hold of His hand and follow –
Trusting in Him
As He loves me unconditionally
He rescued me from the never-ending swim
Meditating on my restored journey
Now planted in His tree of Life – called His child, branching a new limb.
What It means to me.
Sought Him with my whole heart
And watched Him part the Red Sea
Jesus is the answer
Redemption is the key.
What it means to me.
My sideways cross
The old rugged cross standing for eternity
He drug that old rugged cross
To save you and me.
Due in His Honor – Give glory to Thee.
What He means to me.
