My sideways cross
- What it means to me.
- To once be rejected~
Dragging my sideways cross.
What it means to me.
- He said, “pick up the cross and follow Me.”
There are no butts, what-ifs or uncertainties. \
- Pick up My cross and follow Thee. What it means to me.
- The road traveled
The journey unknown
Once destined for another, but
In His gentle Fatherly tone
He graciously whispers daily
Never giving up – keeping my eyes on His Throne.
What it means to me.
- Take a hold of His hand and follow –
Trusting in Him
As He loves me unconditionally
He rescued me from the never-ending swim
Meditating on my restored journey
Now planted in His tree of Life – called His child, branching a new limb.
What It means to me.
- Sought Him with my whole heart
And watched Him part the Red Sea
Jesus is the answer
Redemption is the key.
What it means to me.
- My sideways cross
The old rugged cross standing for eternity
He drug that old rugged cross
To save you and me.
- Due in His Honor – Give glory to Thee.
What He means to me.
